1. Understanding the client's needs

  • Lynn meets the client to understand – their needs, space requirements, desired style and design,
and budget considerations (Pricing takes into account the level of detail in the design, size and glass selection).
  • She familiarizes the client with a wide range of options from her portfolio of completed projects or
from a selection of stained glass design books.

2. Design Development

More specific information is gathered such as:

  • the client's preference in design and colour
  • architectural setting
  • window measurements
  • structural consideraitons

Lynn combines the required elements to create an original glass art design. There is a design fee.

3. Design Proposal

The client reviews the design proposal and then selects the glass from more than 600 glass samples.
A price estimate is presented at this point for approval and a deposit is required.

4. Fabrication

  • A full size working pattern is created
  • All neccessary materials and supplies are purchased
  • Assembly of glass art – cutting, leading/soldering, puttying, patina, cleaning and reinforcing

5. Delivery and Installation

  • Pick up or delivery of the window
  • Final payment is due

Arrangements with a professional window installation company can be made that takes care of all
aspects of installation and finishing details.
